2021-22-241 (Card)

Homemade card. The front reads, "To my teacher" with a simple drawing of a heart with an arrow through it. The first page reads, "Rose are red, violets are blue, sugar and sweet and so are you if you love me as I love you no knife can cut our love in to." It has a drawing of two people with a heart around them and an arrow separating them. The second page reads, "Dear Miss Holland, I hope you have a happy marries." Signed by Greg. The card is a white piece of paper folded in half. All writing and drawings are in pencil.  It is part of a larger collection in an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
