Homemade card from a student to their teacher. The front is black, but the inside has a drawing of a red house labeled "Miss Holland's House" standing next to a tree, under a sun and clouds. "To Miss Holland" is written on top. On the back, it reads, "I hope you will be happy living on a farm. I will miss you. Love Dean." The card is made with a white sheet of paper and all text is in pencil. It is part of a larger collection in an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
