Inside, the first page reads, "Miss Holland is sweet as sugar" in pink crayon. The second page has a drawing of a church with wedding bells drawn in green crayon surrounded by red hearts. "From Mona" is signed at the bottom. The card is made from a white sheet of paper folded in half. It is part of a larger collection in an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
