Homemade card from a student to their teacher. The front reads, "I'm so sorry your leaving wish you would stay. You are a very nice teacher" written in pencil, with a drawing of a lady with brown hair and a pink dress saying "boo hoo." Inside, it reads, "Visit us soon" with a drawing of a large blue object in a green yard. The back page reads, " To Miss Holland from Lois. Most text and art was done in crayon. The car is made from a sheet of white paper folded into fourths. It is part of a larger collection in an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
