The card is tucked inside a white envelope with a matching scalloped edge that with "Miss Holland" written on the front. All writing is in blue ink. The pair were inside an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", and contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
