2021-22-258 (Card)

Homemade trifold pamphlet from a student to their teacher. The front reads, "To a very nice teacher!" Inside has a crayon illustration of a family in a kitchen. One child is sitting at a table wearing a red shirt and blue pants, saying "Mom, can I go to Boddicker's?" A younger child in only red shorts is on the floor wailing. The mother is standing, wearing a red dress and blue apron, saying, "Why did I ever get married?" In the background, the cupboards are outlined in green with yellow handles and the window shows another child outside playing on a swing set. The drawing is titled "Sumer." The card is a white sheet of paper folded into fourths. It is part of a larger collection in an envelope labeled "May 1961, Third Grade students, Vinton Iowa", which contains several pieces of art from students wishing Miss Holland luck on marriage but they're sad she was moving away.
