The grey glaze on the can creates a speckled texture, two loops are welded onto either side through which the thin metal handle is attached. The lid is a plain grey metal with a slightly domed top and a welded handle. There is slight rust damage present in various places on the object, most notably along the seams. 3378 1979.12 Knife Steel blade knife with wooden handle. Blade has a sharp, flat edge that comes to a slightly curved point; "Harrington Cutlery Co.; Dexter; Southbridge Mass." is stamped on one side. The wooden handle is red in color and held together with two large, metal rivets; "DEXTER" is stamped or burned into one side. There is some gouging damage around the bottommost rivets on both sides and the surface of the blade has several scratches/roughing.
