A student of UNI when it was still Iowa State Teachers College, he received both his Masters and Bachelors degrees from here. Gold emblem with black letters - ISTC, on front cover. Includes clippings, address, photos, personal memorabilia, letters, sorority programs & social activities such as dinners. Photos depict life at Iowa State Teachers College as it was during the early 20th century. There are many photos of female students. Along with the photos are newspaper clippings, many of events in Mapleton Iowa. On the cover in the center is a large gold circle; inside the circle written in black is "Iowa State Teachers College". In the center of the circle is the lux medallion symbol also in gold. The top left corner has "My Memory Book" written in gold cursive. The inside cover has 13 b/w photos attached to it. The inside cover page has two ribbons on the left side, one purple and one gold, both hanging vertically. Written in black is "Entered Date", "September 10, 1919". Below that written in black is "Name", "Beatrice Erickson", "Address", "Arthur, Iowa". The page has 5 circles each with a different black and white drawing. Through out the book are various pages where items have been taken out or have fallen out. The book is held together by string and tied together on the binding. "3i" is embossed toward the top center on one side; to the left of this are seven raised dashes measuring ounces, every other dash is marked with an embossed number, starting on the second mark then counting up "2, 4, 6"; on the right side of the "3i" is a set of five raised dash marks measuring cc, two dashes are marked with embossed numbers, "10" and "20". There is a decorative line pattern starting at the shoulder of the bottle and ending just before the lip at the top of the bottle.

On the right side of the box is a picture of the boy on the inside. On the left side is "Colorado 50" printed in longhand. On the bottom of the wooden box is "Factory No. 680 3rd Dist. N.
