1913 1972.42.4 Tool Metal potato masher with wood handle. Wood handle has been carved to fit comfortably in the hand and painted green. The masher attachment is made up of a thick steel wire frame which has been shaped into an alternating looped pattern. There is significant wear and chipping on the handle, revealing much of the wood beneath the paint as well as some visible rusting on the metal frame.

1917 1972.49 Record, Phonograph Test. Record. "Six Presidents Speak." Contains insights of the presidency from the presidents themselves. Those included are Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Richard M. Nixon. The cover contains pictures of these men done in blue on red and placed on a white background. 1948 1972.84 Dress Woman's. Light blue. Notched v-neck folded back to form a collar, which is covered with fine ecru lace. The dress has short cuffed sleeves and a machine embroidered design in the bodice. Seven glass buttons down the front. Self-belt with a covered buckle. The front has a skirt with unpressed pleats and the bodice is gathered at the waist. The back has small unpressed pleats from the end of each skirt dart. 1954 1973.12.3 Bottle 1 FL oz Tone's brand pure vanilla extract box (3a) and bottle (3b), cardboard and glass. Bottle is clear glass with a red and white metal screw top lid and a red, white, and black sticker label, which has come unattached. The bottle is wide and flat on two sides, with the two narrower sides gently rounding off into the top and lid, which can be used to measure a half teaspoon, according to red text on the top. The box is white and red with black and white lettering, the Tone's logo, a black, teardrop-shaped flower bud with a thin black stem and two leaves, appears on every side. a circle on the very top denotes that the product would have cost 29 cents. 1973.12.3 (Bottle) image
