Object is made up of two parts, an outer lid (11.46a) and an inner "shelf" (11.46b); both parts are primarily light blue on the outside and white on the inside. The outer lid has a section of white on the top which contains an image of several pink and purple flowers arranged with green foliage, under this image "Yardley London; Makers and Distributors For U.S.A., Yardley, New York; Contents 8 Ozs.". The inner "shelf" has no outer details, decoration, or text, "2N2" is stamped in green ink on the bottom right inside corner. Both parts show signs of wear and have scratches in the blue paper outsides, revealing white beneath. | |

The cups are shallow and lipped, the lips overlap in an under/over pattern lengthwise but are not welded to one another. The four strips of metal that make up the outer shape of the pan are welded together at the corners with a pin in each corner for support, the fifth strip runs lengthwise through the middle of the pans, between the cups, in order to hold them together; all five metal strips are welded to the cups at every point of contact. Slight warping has occurred which prevents all eight pans from laying flat. Muffin tin has eight cups for muffins and they are connected by five strips of metal. | |
