1823 1971.41.90 Shirt U. S. Army khaki colored dress shirt with long sleeves and two button cuffs. The shirt has two pockets on the front with buttoned flap pockets. The shirt is 80% wool and 20% cotton. Stitching on this shirt is a lighter shade of green than is on (72.41.089). Also at the neck closing there are 4 buttons instead of one button. The buttons are tan colored as opposed to khaki colored buttons on the other dress shirt. On the inside of the shirt just below the collar is a machine sewn label with "The Mfg. 1824 1971.41.94 Net, mosquito Made of very fine cotton thread. The thread is green but has become discolored with age. A white woven cord acts as a drawstring at the bottom. 1825 1971.5.1 Box Box containing self-lighting candles. The box opens via an insert that is pulled out by a small pieced of black cloth attached to the insert. Five self-lighting candles remain in the box. The front of the box has a picture of a woman holding flowers and field brush. The backside of the box has a picture of a standing woman. One side if the box reads, "Roche & Cie. Grand Prix Paris 1900," while the other side reads, "Paris Rue Caumartin.7." The top of the box has a strip of sandpaper. 1971.5.1 (Box) image
