Collar and upper area of chest, sleeves and bottom of skirt are made with striped material. The rest of the dress is a solid color. 9066 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.35A Scissors Metal buttonhole scissors. Scissors has large ring handles and a screw that protrudes from the left side of the scissors. Tip of the blades are sharp. On one side of the scissors it has "HOLLER" etched into the metal next to the hinge. A is the scissors itself, and B is the tapestry case the scissors are held in. 9067 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.35B Case Fabric case used to hold buttonhole scissors. Made of a blend of brown yellow fabric. There is a indistinguishable pattern on the main part of the case. 9068 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.37 Wheel Metal tracing wheel. The tracing wheel has a thick black wooden handle. There is a small patch of metal where the tracing wheel connects to the handle, that is clearly weathered. The wheel itself is sharp to the touch and has weathered patches. 9069 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.38 Needle Needles for sewing leather. There are two needles - one that is small (4.5 centimeters long) and the other that is large (6.7 centimeters long). The needles have flat triangular dull points, and the larger needle has a big eye. There is a bit of wear on the needles but overall good condition.
9070 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.39 Needle Curved needles used for upholstery work. There are four needles in total, and they are threaded through a piece of green cloth. There are three large needles and one that is slightly smaller. Minimal wear on the metal.
9071 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.40 Needles Two needlebooks of embroidery needles. The two needlebooks have a combination of 59 total embroidery needles that are size 5/10, with 26 of them (nickel plated) coming from Woolco and the remaining 33 (long eye) coming from Milwards Needles. Both were made in England. 
9072 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.41 Needles Collection of large sewing needles, used for hand sewing. There are 7 in total, with various sizes. Most of them are thin and have similar eye shapes, but one is a thick long needle with a circular eye and a triangular point.
9073 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.43 Needles Collection of double-pointed knitting needles. There are a total of 21 knitting needles, with different sizes. There are some loose needles, but most of them are tied together by tan string and the start of a knitting project made with red yarn.
9074 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.44 Crochet Hooks A collection of assorted crochet hooks. There are 9 hooks in total, with 8 of them being made of steel, and 1 made of bone. The steel hooks have a range between 0 (largest) to about 13/14 (smallest). The bone hook does not have a size label, but it the largest hook in this collection.
9075 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.45 Shuttle Tatting shuttle made of ivory. The shape of the shuttle is similar to that of a kayak - long with curves and long points. There are two faces of the shuttle - one is smooth and plain with two dots where nails or screws went through. 9076 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.46 Tatting Shuttle Silver tatting shuttle. Shuttle is long and curved, almost like the shape of an almond. There are two layers of metal, with the top layer being longer than the bottom. There are intricate carved details on the face of the metal that is mirrored on the bottom. There are some spots that show wear or damage where the metal is black and has a gritty texture. 9077 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.47 Needle Case Embroidered needle case. The base of the case is a tan color, with the thread being various shades of blue. It's folded into three parts. There are two patches stitched on the inside. They are stitched with dark blue thread - the outer patch being a tan felt and the inner patch being a cerulean color. 9078 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.48a Sharpening Stone Light brown sharpening stone. There is a tiny white streak across one face of the stone. The stone is well conditioned, with minimal if any chips. 9079 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.48b Leather Pouch Worn leather pouch used to hold a sharpening stone. On one side of the pouch it is labeled, "DIMO-GRIT (The Wheel for Steel) Sharpening Stone Manufactured by LUTHER GRINDER MFG. CO. MILWAUKEE, WIS." The leather itself is worn but still in tact, with no missing elements. The leather was stitched with a dark brown thread, and edges of the pouch are lightened due to wear. 9080 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.49 Buttonhole Cutter Metal buttonhole cutter. The main part of the cutter has a long cut down the center so the foot can move back and forth. On both sides of this part of the cutter, there is a numbering system that starts 0,9,8... until it reaches 1. The bottom of the cutter has side notches, and curved rounded shoulders. There is a small point on the end of the piece. The sides of the main part are scalloped, and a small blade extends when the foot is moved. 9081 UNIM1986.14.1981.2.50 Hook Metal buttonhook. There is a loop on one end of the hook, used as a handle to grab the tool. The inside of this loop handle has some weathered spots, and it does not fully meet the rest of the metal piece. Shoulder strap fastens into top of bag that has extra flap to cover top and holds top shut by lacing through 4 eyelets at top. A handle is located half way down bag balanced for hand carrying.
