2604 2016-FIC-67 Book History Reader for Elementary Schools by Lucy L.W. Wilson. Cover is yellow and blue and has a picture of a family waving at a train. "Sisters of St. Francis May 1939 Grade III" is written on the first page. Black and white images are throughout the pages. Binding is beginning to fall apart.  Book is 406 pages.

Cover is green and the title is only written on binding in gold. A picture of Darwin is on the first page. Book is 356 pages including index. Binding is weak and pages are coming loose. 
2634 2016-FIC-98 Book Advanced Course of Composition and Rhetoric A Series of Practical Lessons by G. P. Quackenbos. Cover is red with black text and borders. The binding is a dark brown with gold lettering. First few pages appear to be missing from book. "Marilla Henderson" is written on the title page. Notes are throughout the entire book, but the majority are on the last few pages. Some pages are coming loose in the center. Book is 453 pages.  
2635 2016-FIC-99 Book The Tribune Primer  by Eugene Field. Cover has to different floral patterns. Two-thirds is a blue and green flower pattern and the other one-third is gold and surrounds the title. Part of the cover is missing. The first page says, "To Anna From Nora 1903." The page numbers are rewritten at the bottom of each page. Binding is weak and pages are beginning to detach. 
2636 2016-FIC-100 Book The Very First Lessons at the Piano Revised and Enlarged by Mrs. Crosby Adams. Cover is brown with black text and borders. Booklet contains a variety of songs and music. Both the front and back covers are detached. The pages are attached to each other. Book is 49 pages, excluding the index. 
2637 2016-FIC-101 Book 1930-19 class record book for Cloverdale #1 school in Osceola County, Iowa. The teacher was Elizabeth Marshall. Titled "The NE-SS-HO Assignment Class Record, Six Week Form," published by The University Publishing Co., 1929. A sticker inside the front cover says "Donated by Helen Marshall Poppenheimer to the Marshall Center One Room School, University of Northern Iowa. Handwritten honor roll lists are first page and inside the back cover. Hardback, green cover, bound with thread.
2638 2016-FIC-102 Book Butler's Elementary Geography by Jacques W. Redway. Cover is blue with white text. First page says, "Mary Morton $1.00 KS." Black and white images are throughout the book. Some damage is visible. Binding is weak, but pages are still attached. Book contains black and white images and is 134 pages in length including the index. 
2639 2016-FIC-103 Book Butler's Complete Geography Iowa Edition by Jacques W. Redway. Cover is blue with fading white text. Stains are prevalent on the front and back covers. Images are black and white and maps are in color. Book is 141 pages, exclduing the appendix on Iowa geography. 
2640 2016-FIC-104 Book Natural School Geography Revised Edition with Iowa and Mussouri Supplement  by Redway and Hinman. Cover is brown with dark brown text and a picture of a ship. First few pages are missing (title page and publication information). The binding and cover are fragile and weak. Pages are loosely attached. "Nellie Stromer Sept. 2, 1926" is written in the top left corner on the interior cover. There are additional notes throughout the book, especially on the last few pages. "Nellie Stromer Klemme, Iowa Hancock Co. Ell No. 4" is written on the last page. 
2641 2016-FIC-105 Book The Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. Cover is blue with purple text and green elegant border. The cover has scratches across the cover. Binding is weak and the pages are detaching on the bottom. Edges and corners and frayed. Book is 96 pages. 
2642 2016-FIC-106 Book Frye's First Steps in Geography by Alexis Everett Frye. Cover is green with dark green text and a picture of a globe and ships. The inside says, "161" on the left side and "Lee Halling" twice on the right. Math problems are written on the back. Images are in black and white and maps are in color. The bottom portion of the page is tearing. Notes are on the last few pages. Book is 312 pages, including the index but excluding the answer section.
2649 2016-FIC-113 Book Inductive Commercial Arithmetic by Carl Coren Marshall.  Cover is brown and the title is surrounded in a dark brown border. There is some staining on the cover, but the binding and pages are intact. The first page says, "Ellis R. Snapp." There are some pencil markings and notes throughout the book. The length is 251 pages. 
2650 2016-FIC-114 Book Everyday Arithmetic Intermediate by Franklin S. Hoyt and Harriet E. Peet. Cover is brown with a picture of two childern in a store with a dog. The text and border is a dark brown. The first page says, "Genevieve Tanner 10-17-1924." Fraction conversions are listed on the left side. A paperclip was acting as a bookmark on page 1. There are a few markings and notes throughout the book and some pages are torn. Book is 278 pages, including index. 
2651 2016-FIC-115 Book Everday Arithmetic Advanced with Answers by Franklin S. Hoyt and Harriet E. Peet. Cover is brown with dark brown text with a  picture of three different people in different settings; one is is a kitchen, another is a lab, and the last is an office. There are three large blue ink stains on the front. The first page says, "Margaret Cirksena Stout, Iowa 1927." There are some notes throughout the book. A piece of paper is in between page 20 and 21 in the answer section. 
2652 2016-FIC-116 Book The Silver-Burdett Arithmetics Book Two by George Morris Philips and Robert F. Anderson. Cover is brown with red borders and text. "Seven" is penciled in on the front cover. The interior front cover has "Charley Otto" crossed out. There are math problems scribbled in the back of the book. The cover and binding are slighlty weak, but the pages are still attached. Some of the pages are torn. Book is 286 pages, excluding the answers section in the back. 
2653 2016-FIC-117 Book Milne's Progressive Arithmetics by William J. Milne. Cover is red with black text and borders. The first pages says, "If this book is broke just say it is a good joke. Walter Holst." There is a sticker in the top right corner for Schleuder's Jewelry Store. The last page also has notes. Some page corners are bent, but everything is attached to the binding. Book is 304 pages, including the answer section. The red cover bled onto some of the pages and dyed them pink.
2654 2016-FIC-118 Book Ropp's New Commercial Calculator and Short-Cut Arithmetic by C. Ropp. Cover is red with black borders and text. The first page says, "1.00" in the top right corner. The sides of the pages are red, but the top and bottom are fading. All pages are attached. Book is 160 pages.  
2655 2016-FIC-119 Book School Arithmetic with Answers by Samuel Hamilton. Cover is brown with a red border and text. The entire front cover is completely detached from the book and the back cover is extremely fragile. The first eighteen pages are missing so the publisher and publication date is unknown. The front cover says,"Eesther Stoakc a boddle of bear and I will a pear and bring my spear with my little dear." Additional notes are made throughout the book as well on the last page. 
2656 2016-FIC-120 Book Ray's Mathematical Series New Higher Arithmetic by Joseph Ray. Cover is red with black text and borders. The color of the text on the binding is gold. The first page says, " M.C. Messe." Binding and cover is in good condition and everything is attached. Book is 408 pages. 
2657 2016-FIC-121 Book Arithmetic We Use by Leo J. Brueckner, Foster E. Grossnickle, and Elda L. Merton. Cover is yellow with brown text. A large "6" is in the top right corner. A piece of paper is taped on the first page with the following information:  "Edwin Maeller Arith. We Use 6 .79." Some math problems are worked out on the back cover. Notes are made throughout the book. The book is entirely attached. Book is 312 pages, including index. 
2658 2016-FIC-122 Book First Principles of Algebra by H.E. SLaught and N. J. Lennes. Cover is blue with the title written in gold and is in a small box in the top right corner. First page says, "Dallas H. Conn" and "Roscoe, Roscoe the armless wonder." There is then a doodle of a man wearing a stripped suit, but does not have arms. There are additional drawings and notes throughout the book. Book is 481 pages, including the index. 
2659 2016-FIC-123 Book The Greek Heroes Fairy Tales for my Children by Charles Kingsley. Cover is red with gold text on the binding with the title and author. There are envelopes and a clipping placed in between the cover and first page. "Gretchen Gosball Xmas 1928" is written on the first page. Book is 303 pages.

"Mr. Albert Barnhart Iowa Falls, Iowa Nov. 18, 1907" is written on the last page. Color as well as black and white pictures, diagrams, and maps are present throughout the book.
