1948-1949 teacher's class record book for grade 6. Likely from the Bethany Community Consolidated Grade School in Moultrie County, Ill. Teacher was Rachael Richarson. Titled "Blackhawk Pocket Class Record," published by the W. M. Welch Manufacturing Company, Chicago, Ill. Softback, orange cover, metal comb binding. The teacher's personal, detailed schedule and notes are inside the back cover, including the classes and grades she taught that semester, what room/building they were in, her lock number and combination, and what times she needed to ring her bell for each class. 

Teacher Rachael G. Richardson graduated from Eastern Illinois University, majoring in social sciences and journalism. She taught at several schools (primarily grades 5-8) in the 1940s, 1950s, and 60s, most of which were in Moultrie County, Illinois. This list includes Forest Hill/District 40, Bolin/District 16, Union/District 51, Bethany Community Consolidated Grade School, Lowe High School, and Sullivan High School. Richardson had also attended the Lowe and Sullivan schools growing up.
