Handwritten letter on a slip of paper about examining a school and teacher. "Baughman March 8th 1834. Having convien'd at the School house for examining the school taught by James Kerr and we find the scholars to be well taught and the employers to be well satisfied and the teacher to be of a good character as teacher." Signed by three directors: William Edgar, John Baughman, and John Shilling.
