Explains the symptoms of each disease and an estimate of when an infected child could return to school.  Printed between 1926-1930 based on the commissioner, Henry Albert's career.

63 2021-1-249 Test State Of Iowa Questions for Seventh Grade Hygiene test dated May 1942. There are 55 multiple choice questions and two question problems. When held to light, IOWA BOND is present on the paper. Test is unused except for some pencil marks on multiple questions. 
64 2021-1-251 Test Seventh and Eighth Grade Test Health and Hygiene. May 1-2, 1941. Test made by Mae E. Ruppel, Critic Teacher in collaboration with J. B. Paul Iowa State Teachers College. Test is from State of Iowa Department of Public Instruction Jessie M. Parker, Superintendent. On front cover there are sections for name, sex, grade, age on last birthday, number of months since last birthday, school, city, township, county, and teacher, which is filled in with Mrs. Bernard Schulte. There are three parts and the total number possible is 124. Part 1 is choose the best answer for Health Test with 60 questions. Part 2 is completion with 27 questions. Part 3 is problems with 5 questions. 
65 2021-1-252 Booklet Titled "New Stanford Achievement: Advanced Examination: Form V. For grades 4-9." Test by Truman L. Kelley, Giles M. Ruch, and Lewis M. Terman. 24 pages long. This exam was taken by Doris Mae Rihman, a girl in the 6th grade who was 10 years old. Her next birthday was on July, 17th, and she would be 11 years old then. She went to Lennox 2 School and took the exam on November 19, 1937.  Her scores indicated that in History and Civics she needs attention, and overall her grade equivalent put her in the 5th grade.  The second page had a chart with the test scores and how that fell along a national median as well as how the scores related to educational age, chronological age, and school grade. A blue and red line had charted where her scores lined up with the averages. The tests she took for this test were:  Test 1 Reading: Paragraph Meaning is from page 3 through page 5 and has 80 questions. Page 6 through page 7 is Test 2 Reading: Word Meaning and also had 80 questions. Test 3: Diction was pages 8 and 9 and consisted of dotted lines on the paper where she wroe various sentences. In red someone wrote Grade 6. Test 4: Language Usage was on pages 10 and 11 and had 74 questions. Test 5 Literature was 80 questions and on pages 12 and 13. Pages 14 and 15 are Test 6 History and Civics with 80 questions. Test 7 Geography is also 80 questions and on pages 16 and 17. Test 8, Physiology and Hygiene is 80 questions and is from page 18 to page 19. Pages 19 and 20 are for the 40 questions for the Test 9 Arithmetic Reasoning. The rest of the pages are for the 60 questions for Arithmetic Computation. Throughout the booklet, the questions that she had answered correctly were marked with the letter "c" and the incorrect questions were marked with a checkmark. Part 8 is Arithmetic—examples with 20 math problems to be worked out. Part 9 is 18 Arithmetic problems that include sentences. Part 10 is 49 Social Studies American History and Civics questions. Part 11 is Geography with 33 questions. Part 12 is Science and Health with 56 questions. Exam is unused except for multiple pencil marks on various questions. Test is a bit dirty and torn at places but otherwise in good shape. 
67 2021-1-254 Booklet This test booklet from the State of Iowa was the "Questions in Civics for the Eighth Grade Examination" for May, 1935. The first page had a space for the pupil and teacher's names, the school, the address, the pupil's score, and the percentage grade. The entire test was 50 questions and took up four pages. This test booklet is ripped up at the top.

Part 13 is the Health and Science section made by Joseph W. Rhodes and C. Taylor Whittier from Iowa State Teachers College, includes 48 questions. On back of test is 5 continued questions from Part 1 from Page 1.
