8401 RSC-LI-6 Photography Color photo of the Abbe Creek brick schoolhouse in Mount Vernon, Linn County, Iowa. In the photo, the schoolhouse's windows (2 per side) are covered with white wood. It sits directly beside an old cemetery, whose gravestones are in the foreground of the photo - the most visible dating from 1870. 8402 RSC-LO-1 Membership Roll Membership list for the 1921 Junior Red Cross for Mt. Hope school, Grandview Township #9, Louisa County. The pledge on the page reads, "We will seek in all ways to live up to the ideals of the Junior Red Cross and devote ourselves to its service. We will strive never to bring discredit to this, our country, by any unworthy act. We will revere and obey our country's laws and do our best to inspire a like reverence and obedience in those about us. We will endeavor in all these ways, as good citizens, to transmit America greater, better, and more beautiful than she was transmitted to us." Fifteen students signed their names: Harvey Brauns, Gace Brauns, Frances Brauns, Paulene Brauns, Helen Brauns, Katharine Cadagan, Albert [too faded to read], Homer Hunt, Helen Hunt, Irene McCulley, Hugh McCulley, Homer {too faded] and the last two names are too faded to read. It's signed by the teach, Christena Brauns with the school's name, Mt. Hope. The document is decorated with an ornate yellow border featuring the Red Cross's iconic "+" sign and "1921" as well as four drawn images of children, each with a title: #1- top center, "America All", picture of two kids with an adult with a cloak draped over their head and body. #2- bottom left, "Team-Work Wins", picture of 7 boys forming a human pyramid. #3- bottom center, "The First American", pictures of a little girl with shoulder length hair. #4- bottom right, "Neighbors Over There", picture of two kids, one barefoot and wearing a head scarf, holding the other child's arm.

8471 RSC-Massachusetts-5 Diploma City of Boston. "This is to Certifiy that Patrick DiNatle has honorably completed the regular course of instruction in the Eliot(?) 8472 RSC-Massachusetts-6 Booklet The Huttlestonian, Vol 6, No. 1., published in 1927 by the Fairhaven High School in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.  The cover has an illustration of two red sailboats on a lake. Softback, bound with three staples. It features several ads from local businesses, editorials by students, jokes, and current events in the school. 
8473 RSC-Massachusetts-7 Booklet The Huttlestonian, Vol 10, No. 2., senior issue published in 1933 by the Fairhaven High School in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.  The cover has an embossed "FHS." Written on the cover is "Property of Isobel S. Tuell, Romm 3 - Yew Bldg." Softback, bound with three staples. It features the senior class roster with photos, senior activities with photos, and several ads from local businesses. 
8474 RSC-MC-1 Books Two poll books from a special election on consolidating two school districts, 1973. Election held on January 24, 1973 to determine whether to consolidate the Lowden Consolidated School District and the Clarence Community School District. One book from each community: Lowden in Cedar County and Clarence in Jones County. The books contain voting results, what was on the ballot, a list of all voters, and who oversaw the election.
