8600 RSC-New York-16 Diploma Advanced Academic Diploma from the University of the State of New York for James Lewis Doyle, dated March 29-31, 1905, in Manlins High School, for completing the seventh academic or fifteenth school year. The paper lists all the classes taken, which added up to 84 credits. The certificate is signed with "In witness whereof the Regents grant this diploma no. 114086 under seal of the University, at the capitol in Albany," signed by the principal, Asa S. Knoff, and the second assistant Commissioner, Edward J. Goodman. Near the bottom of the page, just off center, is a gold seal.
